Strategic Sourcing Specialist


    Position Description

    This position plays an integral role in leading the development, execution, and continuous improvement of key procurement and planning responsibilities. A team player who has exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a passion for working across disciplines to solve highly analytical issues and leading continuous improvements is key.


    Key Areas of Responsibility

    • Support manufacturing and R&D purchasing requirements as needed
    • Prepare and Negotiate Vendor Proposals balancing Cost, Quality and Delivery
    • Manage suppliers performance for Cost, Quality and Delivery
    • Proactively provide updates to internal stakeholders on all critical supply issues
    • Coordinate supply availability into work orders
    • Monitor design releases & advance material requests
    • Create and maintain master production schedule & work orders
    • Mitigate shortages and fulfillment dates
    • Collaborate with departments and suppliers to identify and resolve bottlenecks
    • Support and coordinate engineering changes on engineering masters and open work orders
    • Conducts all activities with the highest integrity
    • Identify areas of cost reduction and manage the implementation of these types of programs.
    • Maintain departmental compliance to INT policies and procedures


    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or other technical discipline
    • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, material planning, supply chain, production, or engineering
    • PCBA / Sensor Design or Manufacturing experience preferred
    • Regulated industry exposure preferred (ISO Certification, FDA / DoD / FAA etc.)
